The world of cotto and that of formal gardens meet in a project that sets out to “redesign” nature. In both realms, the reality of natural material is shaped by man through an intellectual gesture, following the laws and impressions of geometry. The collection rethinks the traditional character of cotto and explores its potential in expressive terms.
The absolute protagonist is variegated cotto, alternating with the different colors of traditional earthenware in a game of harmonious silhouettes, a seductive contrast of straight and curved lines. The play of textures and sheen contributes to generate a new alphabet of imagery.
