design by Cristina Celestino
The ideals of beauty and harmony of the Renaissance world provide inspiration for the Gonzaga collection. A clear taste for ornament generates the compositions with their classical tone, referencing the façades or floors in marble and wood of historic palaces and elegant mansions.
The decorative motifs are developed through the alternation of uniform and variegated cotto, with multiple chromatic combinations of the various mixtures. The same colors are applied to the cladding of walls, with four types based on classical architectural features, such as the moldings of columns and coffering.
