Traditional Cotto

Cotto is an ancient material with a youthful spirit. Formed by hand using wooden molds, it takes on a contemporary look thanks to the reinterpretation and combination of different colors, formats and finishes.
Our research on clay varieties permits the production of homogeneous earthenware with many shadings. The technique for making gray cotto is one of the secrets of Fornace Brioni: this material is the result of an age-old firing method developed over the years and passed down from one generation to the next.
